Your shirt’s been through sawdust storms, glue spills, and maybe even a dropped chisel or two—so let’s keep it looking sharp:
- Flip it inside out before washing. Just like planning with the grain, it’s all about protecting the surface.
- Cold water only. Your lumber gets kiln-dried—your shirt shouldn’t.
- Use a gentle detergent. Harsh chemicals are for stripping finish, not washing your favorite tee.
- Avoid high heat in the dryer. Think of it like rushing a glue-up—it never ends well.
- Air dry when you can. Let it breathe like a slab of walnut on a crisp morning.
- Iron inside out on low heat. Unless you want your design to look like it went through a belt sander.

We know. You’re used to next-day delivery. Totally fair. But this isn’t big-box shop, and there’s no warehouse full of robots here. Just real people, making shirts one at a time. It’s worth the wait.
Orders are typically shipped within 2-3 days of placing the order.
Once shipped, allow 3 to 8 days for orders to be delivered.
Most orders arrive within 5–10 business days. Enough time to enjoy a few good shop sessions and let the sawdust settle.

I’ve purchased several shirts from Sawdust Style and have been very pleased with every one of them. The fit is right on, the material feels great, and the quality of the stitching is excellent. The funny woodworking sayings are the icing on the cake—they always get a laugh. These are comfortable, well-made shirts that I’m happy to wear and would definitely recommend.
The Sawdust tees are the best of many t shirts we’ve ordered online. The fabric is thick and soft and a rich, nice color. The designs are well drawn and printed. They offer many great design choices. This is the 3rd shirt I bought my woodworker husband Russ. He’s loved and wears each one but this one I gave him for Father’s Day has really tickled him. They are soft, fit as sized, comfortable and wash well. Love them. So many appropriate so difficult to choose which to buy.

When I found this t shirt online, I was blown away! The woodworking, the hat, the apron, the beard, it had it all! I felt like this shirt was made for my husband. He built custom furniture for many years, that we would show and sell up and down the East coast and in the Midwest. Later, we owned and operated the old Rutledge Harware store in town, with his workshop in the back. We’ve sold the store now and retired, so he’s back here at home, turning the bowls he loves, in the barn where we started it all. Life has come full circle and I couldn’t be more pleased to have this very special gift for him on his birthday! Could anything be more perfect? ❤️

I got several shirts for my husband for Father's Day. It's usually hard to find woodworking shirts, but at this site, I had a hard time choosing which ones to get. I bought this shirt as a present for my all-around handyman brother. He's lost a lot of weight lately, but I still ordered an XL It looked a bit big to him at first, but he washed and dried it, and now it's perfect for him! We all agree, its a very cool shirt!
This tee-shirt was a hit! I managed to keep it a secret from my husband, who has been a woodcarver for more than 40 years, and he wore it the day after Christmas to show it off. Everybody who saw it thought it was great, and many wanted to know where I found it. Hope you get more sales because of our recommendation!
